The man responsible for orchestration his presidential bid, Barack Obama‘s former campaign manager, David Plouffe, is getting a pretty nice bonus.
The political mastermind has just agreed to write a book all about last year’s presidential election. And he’s getting paid seven figures for it!
Estimates are between $1.5 million to $2 million.
Set to be published by Viking, The Audacity to Win: The Inside Story and Lessons of Barack Obama’s Historic Victory, is set to hit book stands next Fall.
Viking released a statement today saying the book will include “the deliberations about whether to run against long odds, the epic primary battle with Hillary Clinton, the drama of the general election campaign against John McCain and the strategic roads taken ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and not taken. The book will also detail the business lessons to be learned from the formation and the functioning of an unprecedented $1 billion start-up ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ use of technology, crisis management, grass roots, and personnel management.”
