Guess who’s having the last laugh!
Fashionistas got super snobby when they found out Hayden Panettiere had purchased her Tom Ford dress for the Golden Globes instead of having it lent to her by the designer.
But while many in the industry “tsk-tsked” and turned up their noses at Hayden, the designer himself was a total gentleman about it.
He sent the Nashville star flowers and a thank-you note!
Hayden tweeted a picture of the gracious gift and wrote:
“Such an honor to wear one of this man’s masterpieces! Thank you for my beautiful flowers! #TomFord”
We’re sure Tom appreciates people actually PAYING money for his clothes. He wouldn’t want to discourage that, now would he?
