It looks like one actress might be landing the role of her dreams, and unlike a lot of dreams, there’s NOT a monster at the end of it!

The role? Ani Bezzerides…a hardened and serious sheriff whose difficult past has led her to struggles with gambling and alcoholism.

However, a list of seven actresses that have been asked to read again for a second round of auditions has been revealed, which indicates the part may be more up for grabs than originally thought.
So without further ado here are the ladies who might end up being Ani:
Brit Marling! You might know Brit from her work in Arbitrage!
Oona Chaplin! Not only is Oona Charlie Chaplin‘s granddaughter, she played Talisa in Game of Thrones! Just don’t mention the Red Wedding around her.
Kelly Reilly! Kelly was a real highlight of both Flight and Sherlock Holmes!
Jessica Biel would be incredible as sheriff! Her beauty is already arresting!
Malin Akerman was pretty AH-Mazing in Watchmen! Perhaps she’ll get the part?
Jaimie Alexander was a-THOR-able in the part of Sif in Thor!
Rosario Dawson. We’d kill for this dame to get the part.
Well, all of these fine ladies would be an AH-Mazing choice. We guess we’ll have to wait and see! Hey, time IS a flat circle…so, that kinda helps.
