Firefighters aren’t a one trick pony. They specialize in all sorts of life saving!
Some firefighters in Kentucky rescued a stranded German Shepherd after a passerby noticed it was stuck on a cliff 200 feet above a small creek.
The firemen hiked to the tip-top of the cliff and one of them rappelled down the entire cliff to save the big puppy. The firefighters hitched the BIG dog on his shoulder and rappelled together the rest of the way down where a small boat picked them and brought them to land.
Turns out the dog’s name is Diamond, and had been missing from its owner’s home for almost two days!
Although it is unclear how Diamond even ended up on the ledge – all that matters is Diamond’s safe now.
