Christian influencer Hannah Moody‘s death has been determined.
As you may recall, the 31-year-old content creator was reported as a missing person on May 21 when she failed to show up to lunch with a friend and didn’t get in touch with friends and family after heading out on a hike earlier in the day.
Her body was discovered 600 yards off the Gateway Trailhead of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve in Scottsdale, Arizona the next day. Officials didn’t notice any signs of trauma or foul play, so it left her loved ones wondering what happened.

Now, more than a month after this mysterious death, Hannah’s family and friends finally have some answers. According to the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office per People on Friday, Hannah’s primary cause of death was “environmental heat exposure.” Her death was listed as accidental.
Per reports, it was 102 degrees when the influencer started her hike, with temps reaching as high as 106. Because of this, Hannah’s mother Terri Moody previously told Arizona’s Family she suspected something like heat exhaustion may have caused this. Very sad.
We are sending Hannah’s friends and family so much loss as they continue to mourn this heartbreaking passing. May she rest in peace.
