John McCain might not know exactly what happened in the 2016 election, but he doesn’t need Hillary Clinton to keep explaining it.
In a new interview with Esquire, the 2008 Republican presidential nominee critiqued Clinton’s recent campaign memoir What Happened, in which she relives and reflects on her stunning loss to Donald Trump.

Knowing a thing or two about losing to a presidential election, McCain had some sound advice for his fellow unvictorious nominee: to “just shut up” about her loss already!
Advising HRC to go against the “irresistible” impulse to justify her campaign strategies and performance, McCain said:
“You’ve got to understand that you can’t rewrite history. One of the almost irresistible impulses you have when you lose is to somehow justify why you lost and how you were mistreated: ├óΓé¼╦£I did the right thing! I did!’ …The hardest thing to do is to just shut up.”
OK, but losing to Barack Obama is quite different than losing to an orange toilet.
For that reason alone, Hillary has been shamelessly pointing fingers as to who’s responsible for President Trump (the Russians and Susan Sarandon, obvi).

However, McCain thinks she should be focused on moving forward instead of rehashing the past. He added:
“What’s the fucking point? Keep the fight up? You’ve got to move on.”
Sure, it’s one thing to sit there and feel sorry for yourself, but Clinton voters need some explanation as to why she isn’t running the country, right?
And you can purchase that explanation on your Kindle for just $14.99!
Do YOU think Hillary should move past the election??
