Looks like Toyota’s not alone anymore…
Honda has just announced that they’ll be voluntarily recalling 1.5 million U.S. vehicles to “update automatic transmission software in certain models.”
Fortunately, Honda is saying that there haven’t been any injuries or deaths as a result of this issue so far.
Vehicles being recalled for transmission problems are as follows:
– model year 2007 through 2010 Honda CR-Vs
– 2005 through 2008 Elements
– 2004 through 2010 Accords with 4-cylinder engines
While we’re not impressed that these cars are having these issues in the first place, we at least give Honda a bit of credit for voluntarily recalling the cars….but if we hear about more recalls anytime soon, we won’t be so understanding.
