Honey Boo Boo is breaking down the raw reality of growing up in the spotlight.
The TLC star, who grew famous as a tiny tot on Toddlers & Tiaras, stars in a new Lifetime biopic, I Was Honey Boo Boo. In the first trailer released on Wednesday, the reality star, whose real name is Alana Thompson, narrates a reenactment of her rise to fame — specifically, her journey on the child pageant circuit and the consequences that had on her family life. In the film, June calls her daughter her “money maker” — and is later exposed for spending all the cash. Heartbreakingly, that causes the little girl to wonder if her mother is mad at her! Aw.

At the end of the teaser, the 19-year-old heartbreakingly says with tears streaming down her face:
“It was always the same thing. I wanted Mama, but her love was only transactional.”
