Mmm! Nothing says ‘I Love You Forever’ like a hot slice of cheesy ‘za!
Honey Boo Boo’s older sister Anna Shannon got engaged on the Thursday episode of Here Comes Honey Boo, and wowee was it special!
What they called a ‘redneck proposal’ was everything you’d expect from this eccentrically endearing family. First, Anna’s boyfy Michael decided to pop the question on a cheese pizza, writing the words ‘Marry Me’ with some extra sauce.
They also invited a group of dancing hillbillies for the big moment!
The proposal actually took place back on New Years Eve, during the Awesome Possum Drop, aka the Tallapoosa Possum Drop, which is probably exactly what you think it is. They string up a possum inside a ball covered in tiny lights, then drop it.
Um, we have a feeling PETA would have something to say about that, but hey, if it’s a tradition, then no better time to ask such a huge question!
Michael has only been with Anna for a year, but when he asked her parents permission to marry their daughter, he said he loves both Anna and her one-year-old baby girl Kaitlyn with all of his heart.
So sweet!
Congrats to the couple! We can’t wait to see what the wedding is like!
