This does NOT look good for Hope Solo.
And unfortunately, it doesn’t look good for the U.S. Women’s national soccer team either!
The 33-year-old goalie only JUST had domestic violences charges against her dropped a little over a week ago, and she’s already in trouble again.

Yesterday, U.S. team coach Jill Ellis announced that Hope was being suspended from the team!
She explained:
“During our current National Team camp, Hope made a poor decision that has resulted in a negative impact on U.S. Soccer and her teammates. We feel at this time it is best for her to step away from the team.”
While a more specific reason was not detailed, Hope’s husband Jerramy Stevens was arrested for driving under the influence on Monday while a very belligerent Hope was with him in the car.
According to sources, team officials found out about the arrest online and were “furious” about it — so as of now, that’s the most likely reason for the suspension.

But rather than hide her head in shame, Miz Solo confronted the drama by posting the following on Facebook:
“I accept and respect the Federation’s decision, and more importantly, I apologize for disappointing my teammates, coaches and the Federation who have always supported me. I think it’s best for me to take a break, decompress from the stress of the last several months, and come back mentally and physically ready to positively contribute to the team.”
Hopefully the suspension will get the talented goalie back on track; the U.S. is currently getting ready for this summer’s Women’s World Cup in Canada, and Hope is an integral member of the team.
If her bad behavior keeps getting in the way, she may have to be kicked off the team for good!
