Elsie Hewitt is doing her best to move forward after splitting up from Pete Davidson.
Over the weekend, the Industry actress confirmed all the biting rumors surrounding her and the stand-up comedian’s relationship: they’re dunzo just five months after welcoming their daughter together. The 30-year-old announced the news in a TikTok video where she claimed she’s now having to “work and make money” for baby Scottie Rose, and is “doing it on [her] own.”
@elsiehewitt priorities ?!?!
In a since-deleted response to a fan’s comment, Elsie even claimed she’s handling the “financial part” of things all by herself.

Sources in Pete’s camp have since denied that claim, revealing he’s “paying for everything related to Elsie and Scottie,” including “ rent, their living expenses, their health insurance,” and more:
“That’s not the reality at all … [the] truth is he is actually paying for everything. Pete is doing everything to be super supportive to Elsie, he’s changed his schedule, and done everything he can to be there physically and financially so Elsie can feel supported.”
Whatever the truth may be, what’s clear is Elsie and Pete are no longer a couple. Which makes raising a 5-month-old undeniably difficult, no matter what kind of support you have. But Elsie is soldiering on… or at least trying to!

Two words: retail therapy! In one video shared over the weekend, Elsie noted she’s been “obsessed with buying baby clothes” for Scottie, before proceeding to show off a massive haul of vintage items.

In another video shared on Instagram earlier this month, Elsie opened up about the difficulties of feeding little baby Scottie, but finally being able to get into a groove. Hinting at her issues with Pete, the model said:
“It all sounds so trivial, but it was the most important thing happening in my world, and I had gotten to the bottom of it. Parenting is so hard. We need those ‘a-ha’ moments. That feeling of pride and accomplishment.”

But most recently, the mother opened her heart to thank fans for all their “supportive” words amid her breakup. In a video comparing the comments she receives on TikTok and Instagram, Elsie dished:
“I just want to say, TikTok is so much nicer than Instagram. Everyone on this app is, like, so supportive of one another. All of my comments are so kind. And Instagram — I think that’s, like, the general consensus. But, like, I see a huge difference “
