So… Where do Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt stand now?
As you know, the comedian and his baby momma broke up earlier this month, just five months after their daughter Scottie Rose was born. We’d been hearing about them having trouble in their relationship, so sadly the split didn’t really come out of nowhere… But what DID shock everyone is Elsie’s claims she was doing everything on her own!
This is something that insiders on Pete’s end have denied before… But how are the exes getting along at the moment? Well, according to a new source for US Weekly on Friday, they’re now “having productive conversations”:
“They’ve been working together on parenting. Pete has adjusted his schedule to be there for their daughter. Pete and Elsie both wanted [the relationship] to work and it didn’t.”

It’s good to hear things have been improving. In fact, a second source said Pete has been making it his priority to be “very involved” in Scottie’s life:
“His friends were very confused by this totally false narrative that was being pushed that he’s absent or uninvolved. He feels that’s just not the reality of the situation.”
We did hear before that he’s been supporting Elsie and Scottie financially, and this source reiterated that statement:
“He has also been financially supporting both of them.”
The first insider said, all in all, Pete is “definitely disappointed” that his relationship didn’t work out:
“He felt they were definitely in love and in it for the long run so it’s a bummer to him to be a single dad now. They had many plans for the future.”
In case you missed it, it’s already been stated it’s possible these two will reconcile… but we’re glad they’re making the best decision for themselves and Scottie right now.
