Could have fooled us!
Though we heard Howard Stern clear as day call out Piers Morgan recently for being a bit too full of himself, Howie is telling sources that there is no feud between himself and the newly appointed CNN host. Before heading out to another interview, Howard insisted to sources:
“What, is there a feud? I like Piers Morgan. He’s got a lot of pressure on him. He’s gotta get some ratings. Larry King was beating him…I was offering him some advice. I said, ‘You can’t have a guests on for a whole hour unless they’re very commanding, like myself and Oprah. He was challenging me, saying he’s the king of all media. I said ‘Never mind being the king of all media, just be king of CNN and get see if you get that going first.'”
Well, for the sake of argument, if you were in a feud, you’d definitely be winning. We’ve seen the ratings and he’s got nothing on you.
But if you want to let bygones be bygones, we’re on board with it. Let there be peace and good will towards men in positions of media power.
