Sam Smith and Hozier may receive a lot of comparisons based on the fact that they came out around the same time, have pretty similar styles, and are both from the U.K. — but this cover of Lay Me Down is pretty unique.
That’s because Hozier put a funky twist on Sam’s very first single while performing at BBC Radio 1‘s Live Lounge on Tuesday, and we fell in love right from the very start!
