Can Hugh Jackman be any more perfect??
He’s charming! He’s handsome! He can sing! He donated to charity!!
We think he’s impossible of doing wrong, ha!
If you’ve ever been to a Broadway show, you know that sometimes the actors or actresses will ask for donations to help out charities. It usually works, but not extremely well.
For Hugh, though, he could ask anything and we bet the crowd would do it… because he’s gotten $857,740 in donations so far. Did we mention that’s only from 3 weeks of performances??
Since the tactic started, the fundraiser being donated to (Gypsy of the Year) has raised over $49 MILLION to go to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS! This year has been a record year, though, with How To Succeed, Book of Mormon, and Hugh helping out to raise $4,895,253!!
Incredible!!
Keep it up, everyone! And Hugh, could we get some backstage passes?? Ha!
