Any fans of the MTV dramedy I Just Want My Pants Back out there?
If there are, we’re sorry to tell you that the show will not be returning to music television for another season.
After 12 episodes, MTV is calling it quits due to lousy ratings, but complimented the show’s cast in a statement reading:
“We’re proud to have aired I Just Want My Pants Back, with its impressive creative pedigree and talented group of actors. Many factors go in to determining renewals, however, and ultimately, we decided not to move forward with an additional season of Pants.”
For any hardcore fans who just can’t function without Pants on, there may be hope! Sources say that the producers are planning to shop around the show to other networks.
It worked for Cougar Town, right? Keep those fingers crossed!
