So this is… random.
According to reports, Paul McDonald and Lauren Alaina, two of the front-runners on American Idol this year, have been chatting away recently with two of Twilight’s biggest stars – Taylor Lautner and Nikki Reed.
The Idol duo have reportedly been frequently having Skype dates with the pair as they film Breaking Dawn in Vancouver. Allegedly, Lauren has become rather smitten with Taylor‘s abs and even sent him a shout-out the other night, a la a heart-shaped hand signal similar to the one Taylor Swift usually uses.
Okay, that’s sweet and all, but…How? What? Huh? Why?
No offense to Paul or Lauren, but how did they get so fortunate as to have these two as admirers? Since when does Tay Tay and Nikki’s schedules allow them time to watch American Idol? Aren’t they, like, super busy fighting an angry fleet of ancient vampires or something?! (Oh, right…that doesn’t end up happening. Forgot!)
