An influencer is claiming she once hooked up with Luigi Mangione… But is it really her truth, or a shameless grab at clout?
There’s a chance you’ve heard the name Caroline Calloway before. She’s a 33-year-old micro-celeb who drew fame online years ago because of her unique Instagram posts documenting life as a University of Cambridge. We’ll get back to that later…

On Monday, she took to X (Twitter) to share an eyebrow-raising post about her alleged history with the suspected Unitedhealthcare CEO shooter… According to her, they f**ked! She wrote:
“OMG GUYS I LITERALLY FUCKED THE UNITED HEALTHCARE CEO ASSASSIN”

In subsequent posts, she clarified their alleged rendezvous was before he became known as an infamous assassin:
“Ok technically he was not an assassin when we fucked”
“That I know of. But still!!!!”

However, people aren’t sold. For a NUMBER of reasons! First and foremost, his former roommate R.J. Martin told CNN the dude’s back injury was so bad it prevented him from being able to engage in that sort of physical intimacy! He said:
“He knew that dating and being physically intimate with his back condition wasn’t possible. I remember him telling me that, and my heart just breaks.”
While Caroline didn’t slap a date on their alleged hookup, we have a hard time believing Luigi was able to squeeze it in between flare ups.
Another reason people are quick to doubt the influencer is because of her shady past… Wayyy back in 2019, her former friend Natalie Beach pulled the curtain back on a ghostwriting operation she’d been a part of — which bolstered Caroline to fame. Remember those IG captions we said she got famous for? Well, Natalie said she wrote them! In her essay for The Cut titled I Was Caroline Calloway, she claimed she was getting paid to ghostwrite all of Caroline’s unique captions and accused the internet celeb of buying fake followers to paint an illusion of clout. But with the essay, her ruse came crashing down. Natalie wrote:
“Caroline was caught between who she was and who she believed herself to be, which in the end may have been the most relatable thing about her. This is why, when people ask me if Caroline is a scammer, I try to explain that if she is, her first mark is always herself.”
Natalie also claimed Caroline enlisted her help to write a memoir set to be titled as School Girl, which she was paid a handsome six-figure salary for… But Caroline ended up pulling out of the deal and had to return all the money. However, in 2023 Caroline responded to all of the scamming allegations with a book titled Scammer.
Another reason people don’t believe her is because of her exaggerated claims… Just months ago in May, she claimed on the No Jumper podcast she hadn’t “f**ked someone who can read in two years.” Again, she didn’t specify when she allegedly hooked up with Luigi, but he’s a literal Ivy League grad.
In response to her claims, X users demanded proof:
“Proof”
“I don’t believe you”
“you’re always saying some shit”
“Everyone’s favorite fantasist has logged on”
“God-tier grifter”
“Receipts Caroline we need receipts”
