Influencer Emilie Kiser's Husband Told Police He Lost Sight Of Their Son Before Drowning Incident: New Details

We’re learning more about what happened on the day of Trigg Kiser’s tragic death.

As we previously reported, influencer Emilie Kiser’s 3-year-old son died on May 18, days after he drowned in a backyard pool. Emilie and her family have tried to keep the details of the accident as private as possible. Not only because they’re trying to protect the public from the records, amid news more than 100 people demanded the records for “commercial purposes” — but to protect the mom from the details, too.

See, Emilie reportedly was not home when the drowning happened and hasn’t seen any of the records, including photos of the scene or the video of the incident. That’s why the social media personality filed lawsuits in Arizona to prevent the release of any documents related to Trigg’s death. It’s not just about keeping the public in the dark about everything, but as a People source previously noted, it’s because Emilie “should not be forced to relive the aftermath.”

So far, she successfully got her “intensely personal account of her grief and trauma declaration” sealed. Other information, however, continues to come out about Trigg’s passing amid the lawsuit. The latest involves a police interview with his dad, Brady Kiser, who was with his eldest child on the day of the accident.

According to a search warrant application obtained by USA Today on Tuesday, Emilie’s husband was watching Trigg and newborn son Theodore Kiser at their house on May 12. The content creator, as we mentioned, was not home. Brady told Chandler police she was out with friends.

The father said after Trigg finished eating, he went to the backyard to play and was near the pool, which was “not uncommon.” Per the records, Brady noted the pool usually had a protective cover on it. He told the authorities was “soon distracted” by the baby and lost sight of Trigg for three to five minutes. Sadly, a tragedy ensued during that time.

Brady then found Trigg floating in the pool and jumped in to get him before calling 911. And we all know what happened from there. Upon arrival at the home, officers performed CPR on Trigg unil firefighters arrived and took over care. He was taken to Chandler Regional Medical Center and then to Phoenix Children’s Hospital in critical condition. However, he didn’t make it. Trigg died six days later.

We can’t imagine the pain Brady and Emilie must feel right now. It’s all so devastating. We continue to keep them in our thoughts…
