Facebook’s Instagram just added the photo-sharing and social networking app a 15 second video option.
The reasoning behind the addition??!
Instagram founder Kevin Systrom explained:
“We talk about Instagram as capturing and sharing the world’s moments. It’s not just about photography. There are a ton of moments in the world that can’t be captured in single images.”
Usually we’d say, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” but considering Vine’s fast success and the fun times we’ve had uploading mini clips, we’re abso-F**KING-lutely on board!
Not to mention, Instagram will give video uploaders the option of their slew of fancy filters, including the 13 new ones that will be added today!
But does Instagram’s upgrade mean the end for Vine??!
After all, why would we use two apps when we can get it all in one??!
