Ivanka Trump & Jared Kushner NOT Rejoining White House Team -- Here's Why!

Ivanka and Jared NOT rejoining Trump White House team

Donald Trump may be returning to the White House, but his team will not look exactly the same as before!

After Tuesday night’s election victory, sources are now telling Page Six that Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner have NO interest in joining Donny’s administration this time around, despite taking the stage with him and other family members after he won. After a hectic few years working and living in Washington D.C. from 2017 to 2020, they moved to Miami, Florida, where they are neighbors with friends Tom Brady and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez.

A society source in the city told the outlet on Wednesday that Ivanka is “loved” even after her father’s legal trouble, elaborating:

“Ivanka is proud of her father, she loves him, but his last presidency took its toll. There were friends who turned their back on Ivanka and Jared because of Donald, and that was hurtful. Now she has a great life, her thoughts are she does not need to be working in the White House to make a difference.”

Oof. If they lost liberal friends during his first term, then this time in office is probably going to be even more challenging for them! That said, she’ll likely still make her presence as the First Daughter known, the source continued:

“I expect that we could see Ivanka work with tech leaders and talk about child safety on the internet, as well as her concerns about child trafficking, that’s the kind of thing she concentrated on in the White House. […] I think we’ll see her utilize her power in that way.”

An insider familiar with Jared’s family chimed in:

“Ivanka has been remarkably consistent for two years and right now she is focused on her family and the needs of her children [Araballa, Joseph, and Theo]. She doesn’t plan to be in politics. If she has something she wants to say, she will speak with her father about it directly, and privately…If that changes and she decides she wants to advocate for various policies,  she will say it publicly.”

A Miami source furthered:

“Ivanka is not preparing to re-enter political life, but there’s whispers that she could make key appearances and support the idea of the American family. […] Ivanka is prepped to do all the family walks at some point… but has no plans to enter the political fray.”

Similarly, Jared, who was Donald’s Senior Advisor, has no plans to return to politics, but he will reportedly be advising the transition team as needed. So, they’re both taking a back seat, at least publicly.
