Ivanka Trump Plays Both Sides In Statement On Dad Donald’s Indictment

Ivanka Trump has broken her silence on her father Donald Trump’s indictment.

One day after the grand jury indicted the former president over the alleged hush money he paid to Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election, the 41-year-old took to Instagram Stories on Friday to share a short – very short – message about the situation. She wrote:

“I love my father, and I love my country. Today, I am pained for both. I appreciate the voices across the political spectrum expressing support and concern.”

Hmm. It seems that Ivanka is trying to play both sides here! See the post (below):

Of course, the former first daughter’s meager 27-word reaction to Trump’s criminal case will come as no surprise to Perezcious readers. As we reported, Ivanka has been distancing herself from Donald amid his legal troubles. In fact, a source previously told People that the father and daughter are “no longer talking,” adding:

“Even though Ivanka loves her dad, she knows how impossible he can be.”

And when it comes to his indictment, the insider noted that Ivanka feels she cannot do anything to help him:

“Donald does what he wants, and she can’t help him now. His help is in the hands of his lawyers and advisers. She is no longer working in that capacity.”

However, another source close to Ivanka claims there are no issues between her and Donald, insisting “is recreating her business life and raising her children, which are her priorities.” They added:

“She is through with politics.”

Moving forward, Trump will appear in a Manhattan courtroom for his arraignment next Tuesday. Reactions? Let us know in the comments!
