This is so scary, but it is SO good to know J Balvin is OK!
The reggaeton star was departing the Bahamas on Friday afternoon in a small, private plane when some kind of malfunction occurred and the aircraft went down just after taking off.

Luckily, Balvin — and everyone else on the plane, it appears — survived, and the singer revealed the horrifying aftermath with an eerily quiet, serene video of the plane in a field (below):

Really pretty creepy when you think about what went down just minutes earlier…
A rep for the singer told TMZ that he was not injured, which is truly great news, and that right now, nobody is quite sure what caused the crash.
Regardless, as you can see from his Instagram page, Balvin is clearly ecstatic about life and thankful to have been spared in this scary ordeal (below), including before:

Wow! Completely applicable considering it appears he’s back on a plane there.
