Jacob Elordi isn’t with Kendall Jenner for all the right reasons?!
According to Dailymail.com on Wednesday, the 28-year-old actor decided to go from friends to lovers with the 30-year-old supermodel, all to benefit his acting career! An insider explains that Jacob wants to be seen as a “leading man” in Hollywood and thinks a high-profile romance with a Jenner woman could help him achieve that goal:
“If Jacob and Kendall really do become a long-term thing, it would be a major step up from his past relationships. In Hollywood, becoming a huge star isn’t just about the projects you choose – it’s also about who you’re seen with. Jacob has loved the rise that’s come with his fame, and now that he’s in demand and earning Oscar nominations, the next phase for him is building that image as a leading man people are fascinated by both on and off screen. If audiences become invested in who he’s dating, that attention can easily carry over into interest in his movies and TV shows. Right now, he’s fully embracing all of it.”
If this is true, it’s pretty s****y of Jacob to be essentially using Kenny! But honestly? We don’t really buy it! He was already well-known and booking serious acting gigs before dating the reality star. He’s also very private with his personal life, so we don’t see him being in a relationship with another megastar for publicity! Also, which is it? Is dating a KarJenner bad luck or good luck for their partner’s careers? Pick a narrative, people! LOLz!

The source says that although Kendall and Jacob are “trying to make it seem like they’re being discreet,” the Kardashian-Jenners “know exactly how to control the narrative, and if they truly didn’t want to be photographed or seen together, it wouldn’t happen.” The insider adds:
“They thrive on the gossip and speculation surrounding the relationship, and even if they pretend they don’t want the attention, it’s all part of the game and the overall process.”
Hmm. Kris Jenner also allegedly approves of the couple — not only because she wants Kendall to “find love,” but also because the relationship benefits the 818 Tequila founder:
