Cervical cancer victim Jade Goody revealed in a new interview that she’s going through early menopause.
She’s been receiving chemo and radiotherapy as part of her treatment and, apparently, one of the side effects of radiotherapy for women is early menopause because it stops the ovaries from working.
Jade also confirmed early reports that doctors have given her a 50/50 chance of survival.
Her cancer has spread to tissue surrounding vital abdominal organs.
Very sad.
She does hold out a special very hope for the future.
Jade revealed that she’d like to marry her on again/off again boyfriend, Jack Tweed, who is currently serving time for assault – “I love him and he loves me and we keep going back to each other.”
He’s set for prison release in May of ’09.
