Relax, he isn’t going to star in Inferno.
He’s going to star in a competing biopic about the notorious porn star.
Sources suggest that James Franco is in deep throat negotiations to star in a film biography of Deep Throat star Linda Lovelace, headed up by Howl filmmakers Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman.
James is being offered a pivotal role in the flick – pornographer, producer and Linda’s husband Chuck Traynor. We’re hearing that Kate Hudson has been offered the Lovelace role. (Considering her baby bump though, we imagine this won’t go into production for AWHILE.)
We actually think this is good role for James. He always kind of reminded us of someone who stepped out of the 70s. Let’s just hope he doesn’t employ any method acting while preparing. As we recall, Chuck was one crazy, violent and rageful man. No one wants to hang out with that.
