Kimberly Van Der Beek has marked her first wedding anniversary with her husband since his passing.
As you know, James Van Der Beek sadly passed away in February after a battle with cancer, leaving behind his wife and their six children. Now, just six months after his death, Kimberly is celebrating their wedding anniversary without him by her side for the first time.

In a touching tribute post to her hubby on Instagram Sunday, the widow wrote:
“16 years ago I was the luckiest woman in the world to marry @vanderjames. The beauty of this marriage continues to unfold everyday with all these incredible children we have.”
She added, revealing how James is still “present” in their family’s lives:
“He continues to be present and guide us. I’m eternally grateful.”
How touching! We wonder if this means she feels his presence around her still, or if she’s receiving signs, etc.
