We can’t believe it’s been two and a half years since Michael Jackson‘s death. It’s still so so sad every time we think about it.
And now, thanks to an interview with Piers Morgan, we’re able to know a little more about MJ.
Apparently he was absolutely terrified of death. She recalls:
I had a ranch in Santa Barbara. And he came and visited me once. And I was walking him around. It’s how he was introduced to that area — where he eventually bought Neverland — is when I had him to my ranch. He came and he wanted to watch my father and Katharine Hepburn work. He was interested in becoming a movie actor.
[I showed him my burial plot and] I thought he was going to have a meltdown. The notion that I could countenance the fact that I was going to die was anathema to him. He just — he screamed. He talked about how he would get into an oxygen tank and he thought that was going to keep him, you know, alive forever. It’s hard to imagine that someone that was as tormented as he was, you know, could have sort of lived a long and peaceful and natural life.
Sad! Aww, that really makes us feel awful!!
At least he was able to pass in his sleep, though. We hope he’s having the time of his life wherever he is now.
