Get at your high powered telescopes, y’all, because Jane Lynch just got herself a star!
Well, a different kind of star, but this one’s much easier to see and less a burning mass of gas!
Jane who has been immortalized in roles from Best in Show, The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, and, of course, Glee has now been officially immortalized with her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The HIGHlarious funny gal received this honor from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, and could not have been more excited to join Hollywood’s famous constellation:
“I am going to wake up in the middle of the night and say, ‘Ahh, I am a star!'”
LOLz! Not a bad nightmare to have! But gurl, you’ve already been a star for years! We’re just surprised you weren’t honored with your own sooner!
Jane tweeted out on her awesome day just how awe struck she was:

Jane mentioned at the ceremony that she had dreamed about getting her own star since she moved to Los Angeles 20 years ago!
Congrats, Jane! You truly earned your star! Keep making us giggle, gaggle, and guffaw!
