Are tax payers STILL spending money on this?
On Monday, the Supreme Court ordered a federal appeals court to re-examine its ruling, in favor of CBS, over the whole “wardrobe malfunction” incident from back in 2004 during Super Bowl with Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake.
Who knew a nipple could cause years of legal battles?
As we mentioned last year, the decision was put up to the Supreme Court, but they’ve just directed it to the Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia in order to consider reinstating the $550,000 fine that the FCC had originally place.
And, according to a statement by CBS, the network is not surprised by the decision and believes they won’t be found at fault for the incident since they “could not have been anticipated” the nipple slip.
Sounds like a lot of back and forth going on here.
Who do U think is at fault? Janet? CBS?
Or do U just not care anymore?
