Is there anything Jason Segel CAN’T do?! Seriously, the guy is a hilarious actor AND he has some serious musical skillz!
Well apparently we can now add writer to his list of talents as he just inked a deal with Random House to write 3 kids books!
The series will be titled Nightmares! and will follow a group of friends who learn the importance of facing your fears!
The actor says:
“Ultimately, it’s a story about learning that we can accomplish anything, as long as we are brave enough to try.”
That sounds like a pretty valuable lesson to us!
Jason will be teaming up with Kristen Miller who is an experienced author and has written series such as Kiki Strike and The Eternal Ones.
The actor recently revealed that the idea was sparked some time ago and sat on the shelf for nearly 8 years! He then decided to breathe some new life into the project and reworked it as a series of kids books instead!
The first novel of the trilogy isn’t expected to hit shelves until 2014, so kiddies will have to wait a little bit before they can get their hands on a copy, but we can’t wait to see how it turns out!
