Jay Cutler Escapes To Montana Amid Kristin Cavallari Divorce

Jay Cutler recently took a trip to Montana during his messy separation from Kristin Cavallari.

The former NFL player opted for a change of scenery from his Nashville digs and headed to Big Sky Country, seemingly for some rest and relaxation after a stressful month.

He wrote on Instagram along with a series of scenic pics:

“Well done MT. Until next time.”

It’s unclear if he was with anyone or visiting friends, but it seems as if the visit was short and sweet.

We’ve heard mixed reports as of late about the former couple’s current relationship, specifically regarding whether or not they’re even speaking to each other! One insider claimed to have insight about their situation, and shared that things were actually moving in a positive direction:

“As far as the divorce is concerned, she and Jay are starting to work through things more amicably. They are working on valuing everything out right now. The home assets are the easy part.”

We love to hear it!! Especially for the sake of their kiddos: Camden Jack, Jaxon Wyatt, and Saylor James. ICYMI, a custody agreement was reached in early May which will split time with the kids equally between the two moving forward, alternating with a week-on week-off schedule between Jay and Kristin’s Nashville homes.

However, there’s still a lot that needs to be settled between the exes. Noting that they both need to settle into a “new situation,” especially with Very Cavallari coming to an end, the confidant continued:

“Kristin felt like it was a good time to focus on what is next for her. She and Jay have always agreed to not have the kids featured on the show, and when they did appear its always from the back. Now with the divorce, there really isn’t much of a show left to do… Plus, she really wants to take care of her life and her family, and get settled in her new situation, and adding any kind of filming schedule on top of that also did not make sense for her.”

A second source previously shared with Us Weekly that Cutler and Cavallari are only “communicating through their attorneys,” and if it wasn’t already clear, “there is currently zero chance of reconciliation.”

Considering how bad we’ve heard the relationship was getting we can’t say we’d be too surprised if that was all true…
