Yup, the profits from Jay Z’s Barneys holiday collection have officially been tallied!! And despite the racial profiling scandal the store faced upon the collection’s launch, HOVA’s goodies have pulled in over $1 MILLION in profits!!!
Partly BECAUSE of the turmoil surrounding the collection, 100% of the profits (plus 10% of Barneys sales the day the collection launched) will go directly into charity — meaning the Shawn Carter Foundation and all its beneficiaries are having a VERY happy belated holiday!
We could not be more thrilled to hear the great news, and we’re glad Beyonc├â┬⌐‘s hubby was able to assuage the public’s anger toward Barneys by helping them reform their unacceptable store policies!
