Rocawear just can’t catch a break!
After struggling financially and owing wholesale company iSource NYC massive amounts of money, Jay Z├óΓé¼Γäós clothing line is now being sued for using the phrase “Hood Love” on one of their shirts (above).
A company called HoodLove, LLC filed a lawsuit against ROC Apparel Group in early August claiming they’ve owned the trademark for HoodLove since 2006.
The for-profit company is dedicated to the recovery of poverty-stricken communities, and believe Hova’s shirt is confusing the public and compromising their good name.
HoodLove’s suing for all profits made off the shirt and wants the design to be removed from stores.
