Jen Hamilton says this wasn’t the first time her husband cheated.
In case you need a refresher, the influencer announced she and her husband Brian Hamilton had separated earlier this summer. After 14 years of marriage, it was a shock to her fans that these two had decided to go their separate ways — and even more shocking the alleged reasons behind it…
Jen claimed her hubby was leading a “double life” and cheating on her with an older woman. She said in an Instagram post at the time:
“All you need to know is that this person had a double life … I’ve been the only one working for a long time because I wanted to take stress off of him, which sounds so stupid now. While I was at the hospital, taking care of people, he found the time to have a whole other life. As someone who’s never even passionately kissed anyone else in my entire life, this has broken me beyond comprehension.”

So devastating.
Since then, Jen has done her best to keep her head held high. She’s even said she’s keeping her husband’s last name because she’s the one who gave it a better meaning. But in a recent interview with The Cut, we’re learning the author’s pain goes deeper than we realized.
While speaking to the outlet on Thursday, she said Brian had allegedly cheated on her before. And they got back together. She said:
“He did all this stuff to make me feel like he had changed.”
She said they briefly reconciled their relationship and tried to give it another go, but ultimately it ended when he had another affair. Jen didn’t reveal if it was the same woman from his second alleged affair, but either way, we can’t imagine how painful this is for her.
We’re sending love and strength Jen’s way. May her next chapter be full of ALL the blessings and love. She deserves it.
And may Brian move forward in peace, too, as he learns and grows from all this as well.
