Jenelle Evans is trying to clean up her man’s mess.
As we previously reported, the Teen Mom 2 star’s husband David Eason seemingly exposed himself as a bigot after he shared homophobic language during a Twitter rant. Just as Mr. and Mrs. Eason’s costars called for MTV to fire the couple, the mother of three defended that there is no way her husband is homophobic as they know gay people.

Our eyes couldn’t roll any further back. The reality TV vet noted to TMZ:
“David didn’t understand how offensive people would get or how Twitter even works. Now that he realizes his voice is very strong within media/tabloids he has deactivated his account. He agrees he will keep his comments to himself from now on.”
Yeah, if only he followed that way of thinking BEFORE he called those in the LGBTQ community “abominations.” She continued:
“David doesn’t hate people from the LGBT community. My old manager was gay and used to be one of me and Davids close friends. We attended Farrah Abraham‘s birthday in Miami with a lot of LGBT people there and he didn’t act in any type of way. We went had a good time and left.”
Just because you know people are gay or transgender, doesn’t mean you aren’t exhibiting bigoted behavior. Educate yourself, please and thank you. Despite not seeming very apologetic, Jenelle uttered a mea culpa at the end of her statement.
The 26-year-old concluded:
“We are sorry for the comments that were made.”
What do YOU think?? Would you accept her apology??
