Fans planning to visit Jenni Rivera’s gravesite are in for a slight disappointment.
The singer, who died in a devastating plane crash, has a gravesite not accessible to fans who want to pay their respects.
She is buried at All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach, but her gravestone has not yet been placed at the site because it is being specially made.
Instead, some fans come to the area, but do not know her exact location as it has not been revealed. A source said:
“It is something special which the family is obviously trying to protect.”
Security stops all reporters and fans at a certain point before they can get to her location to place gifts and flowers at her grave.
And it seems fans have mixed emotions about this rule as one admitted:
“It is understandable that the family does not want for us to be near the grave, but Jenni was of the people and the people want to see where she rests in peace.”
We completely understand whatever her family wants to do.
We just hope they all have peace after this difficult loss.
