Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli‘s split is getting nasty.
As more details come out about their failed marriage, it now seems that his successful career was driving a wedge between the two of them.
After Jennie recently told a magazine that she wished “he had tried harder,” sources reveal that his increasing fame was making her become bitter, adding:
“Her career hit a standstill, and she became resentful.”
While Peter has gone on to star in Twilight and Nurse Jackie, Jennie is currently working on a CMT reality show.
Jennie was definitely the more famous of the two when they first hooked up, but while his career took off, she focused on taking care of their three kids Luca, 14, Lola, 9, Fiona, 5.
It’s sad that they let their professional lives get in the way of their marriage. Seems like things were going down a dark path for a while though…
