Jennifer Aniston is getting real about some serious, long-term family issues!
The Friends actress, now 49 years old, is speaking candidly for one of the first times about the long-standing troubles she had with her late mother, the model Nancy Dow, and the pair’s long-time estrangement.

Speaking with The Sunday Telegraph in a new interview out this morning, Aniston opened up about how difficult home life was growing up with Dow after she divorced Aniston’s father (below):
“She was a model and she was all about presentation and what she looked like and what I looked like. I did not come out the model child she’s hoped for and it was something that really resonated with me. This little girl just wanting to be loved by a mum that was too occupied with things that didn’t quite matter.”
Wow!
This of course isn’t the first time Aniston has spoken out about her mother; though it is notable to hear her get so real about it even now in 2018.

Trouble started for the pair back in the late 1990s, after Dow released a book — From Mother And Daughter To Friends: A Memoir — about the pairs lives together while Aniston was starring on the infamous sitcom.
