Jennifer Aniston Says Ex Justin Theroux Forced Her To Watch Herself In 'Leprechaun'!

A lot of stars have gotten their start “slumming” in horror films and never looked back: Johnny Depp in A Nightmare On Elm StreetRenee Zellweger and Matthew McConaughey in Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next GenerationPaul Rudd in Halloween 6: The Curse Of Michael Myers.

But Jennifer Aniston isn’t forgetting her big break. Um, mostly because her ex wouldn’t let her…

During an interview on The Howard Stern Show on Monday, the Friends star spoke freely about her role in the “cult classic” slasher flick Leprechaun in 1993.

She vividly remembered how big scoring that movie was for her at the time, saying:

“I really thought I arrived when I did Leprechaun. It was with Warwick Davis, the guy from Willow was in it. It was a big deal!”

Warwick Davis is pretty awesome. She added:

“I really did think it was an amazing thing that I was in a movie.”

But what does she think of the film now? And her performance in it??

Well, it just so happens she was forced to watch it by her now ex-husband. She recalled to Howard:

“I watched it like, 8 years ago with our mutual friend Justin Theroux for s**ts and giggles. We were dating. It was one of those things when I tried to get that remote out of his hand and there was just no having it. He was like, ‘No, no, no, no, this is happening.’”

So cruel! Forget the rumors of violent blowups and 911 calls, we think we just uncovered the real reason they split! LOLz!

How did she react?

“I just kept walking in and out, cringing.”

Awww! She really isn’t bad at all in the campy horror flick. See for yourself (below)!

See? Frankly we’d be more embarrassed about the awful adaptation of He’s Just Not That Into You.

And hey, Leprechaun was good enough to lead to a huge career in TV and movies!

In fact, mid ’90s Jennifer Aniston had so many opportunities being thrown at her, she had to slap some down!

Apparently she was offered a job as a performer on SNL before Friends came along and TURNED IT DOWN!

She told Howard:

“I was like, ‘I think that women need to be treated better here.’ Because it was such a boys club.”

What a boss! And not the horrible kind!

See what grownup Jen thinks of that decision these days in the full interview clip (below)!
