She loves fashion as much as we love her!
Jennifer Hudson helped Lucky Magazine ring in the new year by covering their January issue.
The singer slash actress, who also has her own clothing line, has a serious passion for fashion, but who wouldn’t if they looked that great?!
On the cover, J-Hud rocks a 7 For All Mankind denim jacket paired with a DKNY top and an H&M skirt.
Her interview was almost entirely about her style, unusual fashion sense and her style icon.

On her personal style:
“My style has always been ├óΓé¼┬ª odd. I call it being free, expressing myself. You know, creative people? We like to express ourselves. When I was a little girl, I liked to cut up my clothes├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥we called it Jenniferizing. Or a J. Original! Just because it came that way doesn├óΓé¼Γäót mean you have to wear it that way. I would sketch it, and my mom and I would pick out the fabric, and we├óΓé¼Γäód have it made! I love to sketch! They├óΓé¼Γäóll be like, ├óΓé¼╦£Is that a witch hat? Why are you wearing that witch hat? What is that hat? I mean, leather shorts? With boots? In the winter?├óΓé¼Γäó They do not understand.”
On her grandfather being her style icon:
“The most stylish person in my family was definitely him├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥he├óΓé¼Γäód take you into his closet and be like, ├óΓé¼╦£Hey! You need to wear this, Jenny!├óΓé¼Γäó├óΓé¼ΓÇ░ He was dressed down, honey. His closet, his clothes, they were sharp. He would pick things out of his for me to wear, and they were always perfect. That├óΓé¼Γäós why I love menswear.”
On her favorite places to shop:
“For every day, my favorites are Urban Outfitters and Forever 21. And Nasty Gal! I love that site! Every time I go there, I want everything new that they have. All Saints, too, I love. Then there├óΓé¼Γäós Michael Kors, Givenchy, Rick Owens├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥I like things that are dramatic in a subtle way. When Jennifer has free time, I am shopping! I go through every rack because I might├óΓé¼Γäóve missed a piece!”
U know someone is faboosh when they refer to themselves in third person. LOLz!
It’s always good to know that the stars like to shop at the same places us normal people do.
