Jennifer Hudson may have given Chelsea Handler a brief shot of her lady lumps, but that was the only shot of anything the two would ever do!

While on Chelsea Lately to promote her role inThe Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete as a heroin addict (the kind that’s addicted to the drug, not the female protagonist in literature), the Dreamgirl dished on her lack of previous character research:

“I’ve never done anything, so that was hard to play this role. I’ve never had a drink in my life. I’m sober. I’m like, ├óΓé¼╦£Okay, this is new to me.’ Normally as an actor, you have things to pull from. I was like, ├óΓé¼╦£I don’t know what it’s like to feel any of that.’…I’ve never been interested. Nobody ever believes it├óΓé¼┬ªWhen I got this role, I was like, ├óΓé¼╦£Oh my god, what am I gonna do? What am I gonna pull from to play the role?'”
