At a Catching Fire Global Google+ Hangout fan Q&A yesterday, J.Law dished the deets on her new do’—but not before busting Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence:
“I did it just to make Francis mad. I did it just to annoy him. The first time I cut my hair to here [motions to shoulders] he thought it was giving him the finger, but it was not.”
But after having some funzies, she revealed the true meaning behind her rocker chop:
“It was just at that awkward length. It was fried from being dyed so much!”
Totes believable since it’s her job to transform into multiple characters on the reg!
Enjoy the free feeling of short locks while you can—because once you start filming the next installment of the HG series, you’ll be back to a seriously dark dye-job!
