Even though Gary Ross inexplicably quit directing after one movie, the first Hunger Games made about six kazillion dollars and was wildly successful!
So it makes perfect sense leading lady Jennifer Lawrence would team back up with him for two more seemingly fabulous film projects!
The first, based on an old John Steinback novel that Oprah recently added to her book club, is East of Eden. You might remember the ’50s version, as it’s one of only a few movies legendary screen actor James Dean ever shot.
And, no, we are NOT talking about the dude who banged Teen Mom Farrah Abraham — that’s James Deen!
The second flick is Burial Rites. That one stars J-Law as a 19th century Icelandic chick on trial for the murder of her husband!!!
Oooh, cold!!
It’s hard to believe the Oscar-winning Hunger Games starlet is only 23, but clearly she plans to continue making many marvelous new movies for all of her fans to enjoy!!
Yay for us!
