Jennifer Lawrence has played Mystique in three X-Men movies now.
But with X-Men: Apocalypse hitting theaters later this month, the Oscar winner is unsure whether she’ll continue with future installments of mutant mayhem!
Apocalypse marks the end of several First Class stars’ three-picture deal with Fox — including Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, and Nicholas Hoult — and with J.Law’s involvement up in the air, her male costars’ future with the franchise isn’t a sure bet either!

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the 25-year-old revealed that she and her cast mates were debating whether or not to sign on for more movies, explaining:
“Fassbender and McAvoy and I were all talking. Like, ‘Will you come back?’ ‘I dunno.’ ‘I’ll come back, if you come back.’ Fox should be terrified because the deal we made was like if one of us doesn’t come back, none of us are.”
At least they’re standing together? X-Men United?
While Lawrence admitted she loves the role, a part of her doesn’t want to commit to another studio trilogy:
“I would love to come back. I love the fans and I love the character. [But] you realize how important your year is, like how important three months out of your year is. I don’t know. I shouldn’t be that honest!”
We totally feel you, girl!
Who wants to be tied down to do more sequels of a franchise when you’re the most in-demand actress in Hollywood?
