Was there actually something going on between Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein?

This week, the actress denied that anything was going on between her and her co-star after they got super flirty at the premiere of their new film, Office Romance, at The Egyptian Theatre. She insisted to Savannah Guthrie on The Today Show that they are “not dating.” Even Brett chimed in to confirm the speculation isn’t true. However, it turns out what the pair actually should’ve said is they aren’t dating… right now!!!

According to Page Six on Tuesday, Jennifer and Brett apparently DID have a secret fling while filming the romantic comedy! Oh, damn!!

J.Lo really was getting her revenge on Ben Affleck post-breakup with her hot co-star all this time! A source explained they “kept things professional on set while filming.” However, the “chemistry was undeniable,” and the two allegedly couldn’t help themselves!

The insider continued:

“They tried to keep things low-key during the months while filming but flirted here and there on set, and they definitely had a strong connection. Everyone saw them getting very cozy together at the wrap party and it was obvious they were into each other.”

But not too “low-key” that they didn’t go out together publicly! The source shared that J.Lo and Brett also saw the Broadway play Oh, Mary! in New York City in early 2025. And they continued to see each other after filming ended:

“Once filming wrapped, they were free to take things further and dated for quite some time.”

Wow!!

However, the relationship didn’t last. Ugh! Things evenutally ended between them!

They are now nothing more than friends:

“They liked spending time together and Brett made her happy. But things just sort of fizzled out between them since last year. There’s no bad blood but it just kind of came to a lull. They have a good friendship but in terms of romantic chemistry, that ship has sort of sailed.”
