Over the years, Jennifer Lopez has starred in her fair share of rom-coms and sappy movies with fairytale endings where the guy gets the girl and all is right in the world!
However, the Booty singer is starting to see that things don’t always wrap up so nicely in real life!!
J.Lo has been living the single life ever since her split from Casper Smart earlier this year, and in a recent interview she talked a little bit about how her view on relationships has changed over the years:
“I feel like, when we’re kids, you’re sold into this fairy-tale idea of what love is ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ that Prince Charming is gonna come along and save you, and you’re gonna live happily ever after. [He’s] gonna rescue me from the Bronx, and we’re gonna go off and live in a castle somewhere and it’s gonna be awesome. He’s gonna love me forever, and I’m gonna love him forever, and it’s gonna be real easy. And it’s so different than that.”
So true!!

Despite the ups and downs in her love life, Jenny has managed to stay strong and says she owes it all to her 6-year-old twins Max and Emme:
“They save me. Their love and loving them and them coming into my life really made me reevaluate what I was doing with my life, and the relationships and the choices I was making in relationships sometimes.”
Having a kid will definitely do that to you!
Luckily, it sounds like J.Lo has a GREAT support system around her and she’ll start finding out that there are some MAJOR perks to being single! Besides, we’re sure she’ll find someone who can handle that Booty when she’s ready!
