After trying to kick an uncontrollable bout of hiccups in 2007 and now on trial for first degree murder, Jennifer Mee was back in court as the victim’s cousin took the stand.
The hearing was to determine whether she could post bond and Mee began to sob and hiccup through the entire testimony,
Police believe that Mee, along with two other men, robbed Shannon Griffin of $60 in his wallet and shot him.
Griffin’s cousin, Doug Bolden, testified on Tuesday about the incident. He said Griffin was new to Florida and was “smiling” at prospect of meeting Mee, whom he met online. But, he added, “the thought that he was lured into a predatorial situation is tragic.”
The judge will decide whether her bond will be reduced on Friday.
