As we previously mentioned, Jerry “The King” Lawler, a WWE announcer and semi-retired wrestler, had a heart attack live on air!
He was immediately taken to the hospital where he was treated and his life was saved.
Well the WWE just released a statement that said:
“Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler has been released from a Montreal medical facility and will be heading home in the next several days. We continue to wish Jerry all the best, and we look forward to him returning to WWE in the future.”
We absolutely wish him the best too!
He seems to have made such a fast recovery, it’s amazing that he’s out of the hospital already.
We think maybe it’s time to go from “semi-retired” to fully retired wrestler.
