Move over, Kris Jenner!
It seems as though another stage parent may be making their presence known in Hollywood. While promoting JCPenney‘s new Get Your Penney’s Worth campaign this week, Jerry O’Connell revealed that only one of his twins daughters is eager to follow in his acting footsteps.

The former child star dished:
“My children had to audition for [High School Musical at their school]. I had one child who did audition and I had another child who would not audition. I could not get her in there. It’s pretty crazy how quickly I became a stage father.”
HIGHlarious! In case you forgot, the Jerry Maguire actor has twin girls, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, with wife Rebecca Romijn.
Though it appears he’d like both of his kiddos to pursue theatre, Jerry isn’t going to force their hand. He added:
“I learned that kids are going to do whatever they’re going to do. You can guide them to an area, but you can’t force them into an area.”
Still, it can’t be easy raising two young girls. The industry vet noted:
“It’s just so cute having girls. My relationship with them, just having little girls ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and I can’t speak from experience because I only have girls ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ but, I just think I like girls more than I like boys. So terrible to say!”
Well, here’s hoping that he doesn’t have a son sometime in the near future. LOLz!

Luckily, Jerry has a strong partner in his wife when it comes to bringing up his seven year old twins. He concluded:
“The secret is, because we have children, we’re too afraid to split up because one of us might end up with the children. We try to stay together out of fear that we’ll be stuck with the kids. We have a joke ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ if we did spilt up, we would have an anti-custody battle where we try and convince the judge that we weren’t fit to have sole custody.”
Oh snap! That’s kind of an intense joke.
